We’re thrilled to welcome Jennifer Peris, AIA, to the Lloyd Architects team.

Jennifer brings a rare blend of design sensibility, technical expertise, and curiosity to her work, shaped by over 20 years of architectural experience across the Mountain West. For Jennifer, good design starts with listening. She’s drawn to clients who value the architect’s role as a creative guide—people who may not know exactly how to articulate their vision, but have a strong sense of how they want their space to feel. Her approach blends that input with a careful eye for context, thoughtful problem-solving, and always, a touch of the unexpected.
“There’s room for fun, even frivolity, in architecture,” she says.
Before joining Lloyd, she worked with a local custom builder to establish an in-house design department. That work was built on her earlier experiences at nationally respected Montana firms, where she honed a love for detailing, craftsmanship, and homes that reflect both place and personality.
Jennifer relocated to Salt Lake City from Montana to experience a more diverse market. Introduced to Lloyd Architects by a mutual acquaintance, Jennifer was drawn to Lloyd’s collaborative studio environment. She describes her personal design aesthetic as one that mixes traditional detailing with mid-century modern lines.
At Lloyd, Jen is contributing to projects in the office and helping the firm expand its reach to work with a greater number of clients throughout Utah’s resort communities.
Licensed in Utah and Montana, Jennifer holds a Master of Architecture from Montana State University in Bozeman. She is also an NCARB mentor, with a commitment to sustainability and to guiding the next generation of architects.
When not immersed in design, you might find her gravel biking, gardening, painting, or captivated by the pages of a good book. A former competitive trail runner and Spartan athlete, she brings that same endurance and energy to every project she touches.

Please join us in welcoming Jennifer to Lloyd Architects—we’re grateful to have her on our team, and we can’t wait to see what we’ll create together.
